We are passionate about fungi.

Mushrooms have always been a part of human civilization since the beginning of time. From medicinal usages, gourmet delicacies, shamanistic rituals, and even for battle—mushrooms are very beneficial to both the planet and all of its inhabitants. The “root” system known as Mycelium clears old growth forests to make room for new forest ecosystems beneficial to all life. They form guilds and work in conjunction with, or against, each other, and even trade carbon with the trees.

There a millions of still undiscovered species of mushrooms that could quite literally change our planet completely if discovered. Take for example Penicillin, derived from a mould. It was discovered in 1928 when a scientist found a new fungal contamination on his bacterial culture. It wasn’t until the 1940s doctors began to successfully use Penicillin for medical purposes. This discovery single handedly won the war for the allies as the axis powers did not have this medical technology to heal wounded their soldiers.
